Tysean Thomas, a 20-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot on February 8, 2021. The incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. while he was driving in the 9000 block of South May Street in the Brainerd neighborhood. During this time, an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Thomas in the head and chest.
