Alante Ricky Vallejo

Alante Ricky Vallejo, an 18-year-old recent graduate of Evanston Township High School, was fatally shot on June 6, 2014, near the Chicago-Evanston border. The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Howard Street in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood. Vallejo was struck in the back and taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another 20-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting but survived.
