In the early morning hours of March 5, 2025, the community of Brownsburg, Indiana, was disturbed by the sound of gunfire. Responding to the noise, officers from the Brownsburg Police Department discovered a grim scene in the 300 block of Acre Avenue. Inside a Dodge Durango, two young men from Indianapolis were found dead from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was identified as 19-year-old male, Lucas Brearley. The other man was 25-year-old Zachary Johnson.
