In a quiet Lower Beaver neighborhood in Des Moines, Iowa, the life of 15-year-old Tee Reh was tragically cut short on the afternoon of Monday, February 3, 2025. Responding to a report of a shooting shortly after 4:30 p.m., police officers arrived at a residence in the 3900 block of Lynner Drive to a grim scene. Inside the home, they discovered the bodies of Tee Reh, a male, and 24-year-old Ne Reh.
Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the location despite the life-saving efforts of paramedics.
Investigators from the Des Moines Police Department quickly determined that the shooting occurred within the home and that all individuals involved in the incident were accounted for at the scene. While the case has been classified as a homicide-suicide, authorities have not yet been able to definitively conclude who initiated the tragic sequence of events or what the motive may have been.
