On the morning of March 15, 2025, authorities responded to a distress call at approximately 5:30 a.m. at a residence in the 13200 block of Corley Drive in La Mirada, California. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of Rhonda Alder, a 56-year-old White/Caucasian female, and her husband, Timothy Alder, a 57-year-old White/Caucasian male. Both had sustained gunshot wounds to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
