Johntaya Anderson Barksdale, a 21-year-old resident of Sacramento, California, tragically lost her life on April 3, 2022, during a mass shooting in downtown Sacramento. The incident, which occurred near 10th and J Streets, resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including Johntaya.
