Death by Force

Craighton Thomas, a 51-year-old man, was fatally shot on the evening of April 16, 2025, in northwest Atlanta. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment building along Sunset Avenue NW, just south of Meldrum Street NW. Upon arrival, they discovered Thomas with apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed any details regarding his ethnicity.
