In the late afternoon of Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of a residential building in the 2000 block of 19th Place, Southeast, in Washington, D.C. When officers from the Seventh District arrived at the scene around 2:44 p.m., they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were conscious and breathing and were quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
