In a tragedy that struck the heart of a Covington, Georgia family, 41-year-old David Gay was found deceased inside his Avery Drive home, the victim of a fatal shooting. The grim discovery was made on the evening of May 13, 2025, setting in motion an investigation that would soon center on a member of his own household.
