In the winter of 2025, the life of 35-year-old Ashlee Corona was tragically cut short in what police are describing as a murder-suicide. On the evening of January 5th, Phoenix police responded to calls of a shooting at the Avilla Gateway apartment complex, located near 99th Avenue and Indian School Road. Callers reported hearing an argument followed by the sound of multiple gunshots emanating from an apartment.
