Marquese Janhari Webster, an 18-year-old male from Bessemer, Alabama, was fatally shot in a tragic incident that occurred in Lipscomb on February 26, 2025. The shooting took place at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of Crescent Avenue. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and later confirmed that Webster had been transported to UAB Medical West Hospital in Bessemer by a 21-year-old woman who had also suffered a gunshot wound.
