Authorities on Monday released the identity of a man slain Friday night in Ensley.

Birmingham police identified the victim as Moray Jaimel Morris, 38. Morris was found just after 8:30 p.m. Friday in his home in the 2700 block of 23rd Street Ensely.

Authorities said a relative of Morris found him dead. Police have not said how Morris was killed, saying only he "sustained trauma."
