On November 17, 1998, the body of 23-year-old John A. Moody was found floating in the Conco Quarry located at 1111 E. Trafficway in Springfield, Missouri. Police were dispatched to the quarry at around 11:46 a.m. after receiving reports of a possible body in the water. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the body, and later identified it as John A.
