On May 13, 2023, 56-year-old Michael Patrick Brady was fatally shot in Fresno, California, following a dispute over unpaid rent with his landlord, 79-year-old Ira Lewis. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. in the 4500 block of East Dakota Avenue, where Brady had resided with his wife for approximately five years.
