Michelle Mitchell, a 22-year-old white female, was tragically murdered on April 5, 1990, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was one of six women victimized by Ray Shawn Jackson, an American serial killer known as "The Gillham Park Strangler." Jackson's killing spree spanned from September 1989 to April 1990, during which he targeted women in and around Gillham Park.
