Sadie L. Mack, a 78-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her West Baltimore home in May 2005. Her hands were bound, and authorities later determined that she had been strangled. Mack was one of several elderly victims in a disturbing series of killings that plagued West and Northwest Baltimore over several years.
