Megan Waterman, a 22-year-old female from Scarborough, Maine, was a young mother who had traveled to Long Island, New York, in early June of 2010. She checked into a Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge, where she was last seen alive in the early morning hours of June 6, 2010. Surveillance footage from the hotel captured her leaving the building alone at approximately 1:30 a.m. After she left the hotel, she seemingly vanished, leaving her personal belongings behind in her room.
