In the early evening of March 12, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Buffalo, New York street, tragically ending the life of 15-year-old Shaunice Gamblin. The young female was the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred at approximately 8 p.m. in the 600 block of LaSalle Avenue. At the time of the incident, Gamblin was in the company of a 16-year-old male, who also sustained injuries in the attack but was later treated at Erie County Medical Center and released.
