Patricia A. Parete, a dedicated officer with the Buffalo Police Department, tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in the line of duty. On the night of December 5, 2006, Officer Parete and her partner, Officer Carl Andolina, responded to a 911 call reporting a fight at a convenience store near Elmwood Avenue and Chippewa Street in Buffalo, New York.
