On May 2, 1985, the body of 81-year-old James Orlando Woods, a white male, was discovered in Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri. Born on October 31, 1903, in Aurora, he had spent his entire life in the area. He was married to Mary Warwick Woods and had children, including Charles Clinton Woods, Mary Angeline Keeton, and Fannie Mae Walker. James was laid to rest in Marionville IOOF Cemetery in Marionville, Lawrence County, Missouri.
