Agnes Beatrice Lehmann, a 47-year-old woman of European descent, was brutally murdered in Chicago on July 10, 1970. Her body was discovered near the Grant Park Bandshell the following morning. The cause of death was determined to be severe blunt force trauma, as she had been beaten to death. The crime scene yielded a shoe that was later linked to a suspect, Wilbur McDonald, who was arrested twelve days after the murder.
