Kaitlyn Michelle Condron, a 26-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Her death was a result of gun violence, as indicated by the National Gun Violence Memorial.
Kaitlyn was born on December 29, 1997, in Ottawa, Illinois, to parents Bernard Condron Jr. and Tracy Conner. She had a close relationship with her family, including her mother, Tracy Conner; her father, Bernard (Amy) Condron Jr.; and her brother, Michael.
She also had a girlfriend, Chelsea, and a dog named Leo, with whom she spent a significant amount of time.
Kaitlyn enjoyed various activities such as learning to cook and spending time outdoors. Her passing has left a void in the lives of her loved ones, who include her great grandmother, Jean Johnston, several aunts and uncles, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Butch and Theresa Conner; her paternal grandparents, Bernard Condron Sr. and Jean Murphy; her maternal great grandmother, Marie Connors; and her uncle, Thomas Conner.
A celebration of life for Kaitlyn will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM at the Naplate Community Center located at 2005 Center St., Ottawa, IL 61350. This event is intended to honor her memory and provide a space for family and friends to come together and pay their respects.
