On May 1, 1891, Margaret McQuillan, a white female, was found murdered in Sullivan County, New York. Her body was discovered alongside that of Sarah J. McQuillan, another white female, in a gruesome crime that shocked the local community. Both women had been brutally killed, and their deaths were part of a series of violent incidents that occurred in the area during that time.
