On December 11, 1986, 18-year-old Tammy Cofer Wilson, a white female, was abducted from her home in the Bonnie Doone neighborhood of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Her nude body was discovered hours later by her husband in a nearby wooded area. Tammy had been raped and shot at point-blank range.
