Nikayla McCray, a 19-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed in a shootout in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on April 13, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a mobile home park on Alvin Street. Fayetteville police officers were dispatched to the scene around midnight, where they found McCray lying in the road with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
