Rochelle Claudia White, aged 22, was last seen on July 30, 1973, in San Juan Capistrano, California. She was living with her husband, Gary White, despite being in the process of divorcing him. The couple was scheduled for a court hearing related to the divorce the day after she went missing. On the morning of her disappearance, her husband claimed that Rochelle was still asleep when he left for work at 6:30 a.m.
Rochelle worked at the United Parcel Service (UPS) in Carlsbad, California, but did not show up for work that day. The following morning, her car was found parked at her workplace with her purse, wallet, and identification inside. Suspiciously, Gary did not go to work on the day she vanished and instead spent the day driving around local beaches and later visited a dump. Authorities conducted an extensive search of the dump but found no evidence related to Rochelle's disappearance.
Given the circumstances surrounding her case, including the divorce proceedings and her husband's odd behavior, foul play is strongly suspected. Despite numerous investigations and searches, Rochelle remains missing, and her case has never been solved.
