Marilyn Nevils, a 38-year-old woman, tragically lost her life in late October 2000 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her story is one of a brutal ending and justice eventually served. In November of that year, her badly decomposed body was discovered on the Mississippi River levee, about a mile south of Ben-Hur Road. The discovery marked the beginning of a complex investigation that would eventually unearth a series of horrific crimes.
