Katherine Hall, a 29-year-old woman, was tragically murdered in January 1999. Her body was discovered lying face down in the Vignes Lake subdivision in the southeast corner of the parish, near Hoo Shoo Too Road. At the time of her death, authorities noted that Katherine Hall was living on the streets and struggling with substance abuse, specifically crack cocaine.
