On June 28, 1974, Jessie Ruth Judy, a 22-year-old white woman, was brutally murdered in South Carolina. She was stabbed to death by Donald Henry “Pee Wee” Gaskins, a notorious serial killer who would later be convicted of multiple murders. At the time, Jessie Ruth Judy was living in Charleston with her boyfriend, Johnny Sellers, a 36-year-old man who was also a criminal associate of Gaskins.
