DeAlton Nichols, an 80-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically murdered on November 18, 1973, in his home in Roulette, Pennsylvania. The incident, which also claimed the life of his wife, Euphresia Nichols, shocked the small Potter County village. Both victims were repeatedly stabbed in the chest with a long knife, a brutal act carried out by their nephew, George Fitzsimmons, who was 36 years old at the time.
