James Benjamin Rivera, a 35-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on December 21, 2018, in Philadelphia, PA. He was a victim of a random shooting that occurred in the 1500 block of West Westmoreland Street. At around 11:38 p.m., police officers responded to the scene and found Rivera lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
