Donald Barker, a 62-year-old white male, was tragically killed on September 15, 2005, in Iredell County, North Carolina. He and his 63-year-old wife, Sue Barker, were found shot to death in their home on Whites Farm Road. This incident occurred nearly eight months after the similar double homicide of James and Ruth Delet Powell, aged 74 and 71 respectively, in Union Grove on January 20, 2005.
