On August 16, 2024, Roberto Ramirez, a 29-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot on a street in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles County coroner's office determined the manner of death to be homicide, citing multiple gunshot wounds as the cause. Formal pronouncement of death was made at 9:51 p.m.

Roberto Ramirez had a prior arrest record. On January 26, 2021, at the age of 25, he was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department in Los Angeles County for kidnapping.
