Joe Robinson, a 12-year-old African-American boy, was tragically murdered on August 5, 1987, in Shreveport, Louisiana. His death occurred during a horrific home invasion carried out by serial killer Nathaniel Robert Code. On that night, Joe was staying at the home of his grandfather, 74-year-old Frank Ford. Also in the house were Joe’s aunt, 33-year-old Geraldine Code—who was reportedly distantly related to the killer—and Joe’s 8-year-old cousin, Kandice Ford.
