On December 23, 1999, 32-year-old white male Timothy R. Ott was tragically murdered in his Easley, South Carolina home. The assailant, 28-year-old white male Dallen Forrest Bounds, forcibly entered the residence through a living room window. Inside, he encountered Ott's ex-wife, 33-year-old white female Sandra "Sandi" Roberts Ott, whom he fatally shot in the kitchen.
