On December 23, 1999, the life of 32-year-old Timothy R. Ott was tragically cut short in his Easley, South Carolina, home. A quiet evening turned into a scene of terror when Dallen Forrest Bounds, a 28-year-old white male, forced his way into the residence through a living room window. Inside, Bounds first encountered and fatally shot Timothy's ex-wife, 33-year-old Sandra 'Sandi' Roberts Ott, in the kitchen. Their 5-year-old son was asleep in his bedroom and was later found unharmed.
