Karen Hayden, a 30-year-old woman, was tragically murdered on December 22, 1999. She was working at the Greenville-Pelham Florist on Rutherford Road when she was killed. Hayden was found in the afternoon after a concerned customer noticed the front door to the shop was locked, the lights were out, and a 'closed' sign hung in the window.
