Laura Hobbs, an 8-year-old girl, was tragically murdered on May 8, 2005, in Zion, Illinois. Laura, along with her friend Krystal Tobias, 9, went out to play on their bicycles but failed to return by nightfall. Their families, police, and volunteers searched for the girls all night, but to no avail. The following day, Laura's father, Jerry Hobbs, discovered the bodies of the two girls in a park. Both girls had suffered fatal stab wounds to their necks and faces, and they were also sexually assaul ...
