Lamonte Curtis, age 23, was tragically killed on August 23, 2008, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident took place while Curtis and a 16-year-old companion, Jazmine Stiggers, were sitting on a front porch on Bellefontaine Avenue. At approximately 6:56 p.m., both individuals were shot during what appeared to be a targeted attack.
