Darrell Gene Moon, a 28-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on July 13, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas. Officer Moon was a dedicated member of the Fort Worth Police Department, serving in the Vice Unit. On the fateful day, Officer Moon was involved in a shootout while attempting to arrest three men in downtown Fort Worth.
