Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull, age 41, died on September 14, 2018, after being shot by robbery suspects outside the Los Vaqueros bar in Fort Worth, TX. Officer Hull was an undercover officer at the time and was part of a team attempting to arrest a group of armed robbery suspects. During the confrontation, one of the suspects, Dacion Steptoe, opened fire, fatally wounding Officer Hull. Despite immediate medical attention, Officer Hull succumbed to his injuries.
