Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull, age 41, died on September 14, 2018, after being shot by robbery suspects outside the Los Vaqueros bar in Fort Worth, TX. Officer Hull was an undercover officer at the time and was part of a team attempting to arrest a group of armed robbery suspects. During the confrontation, one of the suspects, Dacion Steptoe, opened fire, fatally wounding Officer Hull.

Both men were held accountable for their roles in the crime, even though neither of them fired the shots that killed Officer Hull.
