Kevin Jolyon Williams, a 28-year-old male police officer with the Huntsville Police Department in Texas, tragically died on March 10, 1985. He succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained while responding to a domestic violence call at the Woodcreek Apartment complex. As Officer Williams exited his patrol car, he was shot by a .22 caliber rifle. The suspect also fired at two other officers, wounding one of them. The officer who was not wounded managed to apprehend the suspect.
