Terece Gregory, a 29-year-old woman from Fort Worth, TX, tragically died on May 29, 1985. Her body was discovered floating in the Trinity River the following day. She had been last seen driving away from the Caravan of Dreams, a downtown Fort Worth nightclub, the night before her death. An autopsy revealed that she had been raped and shot.

crime. Brown, who was already serving a life sentence for another murder, was indicted on a capital murder charge in Gregory's death in July 2005. The DNA evidence found in Gregory's body matched Brown's profile, leading to his arrest and subsequent trial.
Curtis Don Brown, a suspected serial killer, was also linked to the death of Sharyn Kills Back, another young woman who disappeared and was found dead in 1985. Brown eventually admitted to killing both Gregory and Kills Back as part of a plea deal, avoiding the possibility of the death penalty. He received two additional life sentences that would run consecutively to his existing sentence.
