On August 8, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, authorities discovered the bodies of 58-year-old Angela Kay LaCroix and her husband, 62-year-old Blayne LaCroix, in the master bedroom of their residence on Dove Tree Court. Responding to a welfare check requested around 3 p.m., officers entered the home after observing accumulated mail and hearing dogs barking inside. Inside, they found both individuals deceased, with a firearm located near their bodies.
