James W McIver, a 51-year-old oilfield worker from Pecos, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 10, 1992. The incident was part of a devastating murder-suicide that claimed the lives of five family members in their home. The victims included James McIver, his wife Gloria, 49, their son Robert, 27, their one-year-old granddaughter Deseray, and Gilbert Dominguez, 48, who was the father of the infant.
