Patty June "Wendy" Brunson Gilmore, aged 41, was tragically killed on April 3, 1995, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was one of five victims murdered by James Daniel Simpson, a former employee at the Walter Rossler Company, a refinery inspection firm. Simpson entered the company armed with a 9mm semiautomatic pistol and a .32-caliber revolver, and systematically shot five people at point-blank range before taking his own life.
