Asha Sarai Williams, a 17-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on April 11, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. Asha was driving in the 600 block of East 95th Street near Chicago State University when she was shot in the head by someone in one of two black sedans that were involved in the incident. She was immediately taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries two days later.
