Craig Lamont Shaw, a 37-year-old male police officer with the Lancaster Police Department in Texas, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2010. Officer Shaw was shot and killed while responding to a shooting call at a local apartment complex in Lancaster. The incident occurred in the 900 block of River Bend Drive, where a man had just been murdered. After arriving at the scene, Officer Shaw and other officers began searching for the suspect.
