Sheldon Earl, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 10, 2015, in Lancaster, Texas. The incident occurred at Meadowcreek Park, where a group of around 40 to 50 people had gathered. At approximately 8:30 p.m., a car with at least three individuals inside approached the park.
