On the evening of August 26, 2013, 19-year-old Tadarris Reed was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on Gallagher Street in Dallas, Texas. Reed, who was African American, was among the victims of an unidentified assailant who opened fire on a crowd with an assault rifle around 11:10 PM. The attack also claimed the life of 21-year-old James Johnson, and left another person injured. Despite extensive investigations, the shooter's identity remains unknown, and the case has remained unsolved.
