Ernest DeAnthony Turman, a 32-year-old African American man from Lubbock, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on October 5, 2014, at the Eagle Pointe Townhomes in East Lubbock. Turman was known for his love of music and his outgoing personality, and he was deeply loved by his family and friends.

The investigation into Turman's death revealed that he was wearing shoes belonging to Michael Deshawn Homer, his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, at the time of his death. Homer, who was 29 years old ...
